This site is a personal hobby site. It is paid for by myself and is not associated with any of the businesses which I have links to. I have specifically tried to avoid reference to commercial sex (prosititution, pornography, etc); there's plenty of that around and they don't need my help to advertise. My default position is that if an organisation is actually selling sex, or where the profits of business activity appear to benefit people other than the direct organisers of the activity, then I will not emphasise that business' place within the scene. Where commercial operations are discussed it is usually restricted to niche businesses, such as fetish gear retailers, or to sex-on-premises venues which provide an environment but which do not actually sell sex.

There is a moderate amount of political comment on this site. I am not a member of any political party (yet!) and any political or electoral comment is purely my own opinion.

This site is gender-neutral; unless stated either explicitly or through the context, all references to gender are flexible, refering to males, females, trannies of various flavours, and everyone else as well, as you prefer. In many cases, 'top' may also be substituted for 'male', and 'bottom' for female.

This site makes frequent use of the adjective 'gothic'. This term is applicable to a very broad range of 'looks' and subcultures (or sub-subcultures) and I use this term very loosely.

Many details on this site are vague; some are deliberately false and misleading. This is to protect the privacy of individuals, organisations, groups, and businesses mentioned, and to prevent unwanted attention from people who do not have the alternative community's best interests at heart. If you are here for the wrong reasons, then I hope you spend many boring hours chasing down fruitless leads, and that you go blind from eye strain... if your covert masturbation doesn't do it first.

Interestingly, the site stats reveal that most people come to see the sexually- oriented pages and don't stay for very long; my readers are clearly a pack of sluts with short attention spans.
