Playing in real life with people you
have met over the Internet (or Internet hookups) can be both rewarding
and frustrating. This may be achieved either in an internet chat room,
or from a message posted on a discussion group or notice board. In my
experience, free sites such as Pinkboard
and gay.com offer reasonable return
rates for no outlay. I haven't used pay sites such as Adult MatchMaker,
but those who have also speak highly of them. I'd offer the following
advice on converting internet acquaintances into real-world shags: - the internet is anonymous, so you never really know who you're associating with until you meet. It can be difficult to know what you're getting, and in the worst case they may have deliberately lied either in chat or on their profile. - for a variety of both legitimate and malicious reasons, people often don't show for pre-arranged meetings. This may be because they've got cold feet, which is fair enough, or because they never really intended to meet in the first place anyway. - people never want you to come to their place. If you can entertain guests, and you're happy to have people over, then you'll get more opportunities. Obviously, there are safety/security risks with having strangers over; you may wish to hide the flat-screen TV to avoid your house getting broken into. - the most desirable partners always seem to be the most distant. - it is sensible to meet new partners in public first. - if you plan to go out, let someone you trust know where you're going and when you'll be back. |
